Hiya,
Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
It should be very faintly etched across the top of the inner door.

When you select a new program, what exactly happens? (describe the exact sequence of events).

On the left side, is there a red rod? if there is, is it raised, activating a switch?

Thanks

E number
shv55mo3gb/79
No rod is lowered

Hiya,
I asked what exactly happens when you try using it.
Can you advise, in detail?

For example, start program, drain pump runs, drain pump stops and machine fills for a while.
Stops filling, drain pump runs, drain pump stops, fills, etc

thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
When I start th the dishwasher it runs water does not fill as it empties as soon as it fills drain pump does not stop unless I hold the read rod up
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
The red rod up should bring the drain pump on.

When you lift the red rod, does the pump stop?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes when the red rod is pulled up manually the pump stops.
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, that's working in reverse.
Has anyone disconnected wiring to the pressure chamber?

With the door of the machine open, lift the red rod to activate the microswitch, does the pump run?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No the pump doesn't run
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, I asked if the wiring to the switch on the pressure chamber had been disconnected.

Look at the microswitch closely, does it have 3 terminals?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No the pressure switch has not been disconnected could I it be the pressure switch that is causing the problem as the red rod is not held up by it and are they read,y available could you please tell me the best place To buy them and is there a part code as you know the model no
Regard
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
No, the red rod should be down, it shouldn't be touching the microswitch.

When it's down, your drain pump runs all the time, when you lift it, it stops.
This is the opposite of what should happen.

Look at the microswitch, does it have 2 or 3 terminals?

Thanks
