Hiya,
How old is the machine?

Can you post the product number (PNC) from the label in the door recess please?
It begins with 9 so you need to prefix it with A to prevent it being crossed out.

eg. A914419941 00

Thanks

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

Turn the machine on, any program.
Close the door.
Press and hold together the start button and the button to the left of it.

The start light will flash.
Count the red flashes and let me know how many
Count the green flashes and let me know how many.

Once I have the 2 numbers I'll advise further.

Thanks

Hi

there are 5 red flashes

the green light flashes every couple of seconds continuously

(the manual says to disregard the green flashes and also advises what do with 1, 2 and 4 red flashes but says to call an engineer for any other number of red flashes)

Hiya,
I need to know the number of green flashes.
So, carry out the procedure again, and count the number of green flashes too.

The red will flash 5, then the green will flash ? times.
It should then repeat.

Thanks

Hi

there are 5 red flashes and then 1 green flash

then the program reverts to normal mode, and the door light keeps flashing green

It does not repeat. Ive ran the check 3 time with the same result:

5 red flashes and then 1 green flash

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

The code retrieved is E51
E51 indicates a fault on the main control board in the motor circuit.

Normally, the failure of the board is caused by a fault on the motor, there are a few occasions where it's simply a board failure, but generally, it's both that have to be replaced.

Sorry, you are looking at an expensive board replacement and possibly a motor too.

If you can have the motor tested first to confirm it's ok, you would be ok fitting only a board.

Check it out, see what you find.

Hope this helps
Thanks
