Hiya,

Is it the program lights that flash or the start light?

If it's the start light, count the flashes and let me know how many.

What happens if you select spin only?

Thanks

Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Hi spin seems to work, the start, pause button flashes, three program lights are on, fill, rinse, spin

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

As previous, count the flashes.

It flashes a number of times, pauses, then repeats.

Try it on a program, when it fails, count the flashes.

Thanks

Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

start pause button flashes continually, even after I skip to next stage, washer starts, sounds like pump, drum does not turn, it clicks and start pause light flashes, also it will not spin now

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, what happens now if you select spin only?

Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

It spins ok

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, this is getting confusing now.

When I asked about spin first, you said it spun.

Then you posted it will not spin now.

Once again, you say it spins ok.

You need to be absolutely clear when you post as I can't see what the machine is doing.

Does your machine have a display or does it only have lights?

Thanks

Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

It has lights

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, switch off.

Press and hold together the start and skip buttons.

While holding, switch on.

The lights will flash

Release the buttons and the lights scroll.

Now press and release the fabric button repeatedly until you get the 2nd botXXXXX XXXXXght in the 2nd column lit.

Look at the column of 8 lights on the right of the facia.

Number them with 1 at the top.

Which numbers are flashing?

Now, turn the machine off, on and off again.

Thanks

Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Ok, did that, got lights scrolling, tried to stop light at 2nd column,2nd light,

but the machine started taking in water, and washing,

so I turned it off tried again, machine started working,

So turned it off, then on and set program, it now appears to be working

taking in water, etc as it should

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, if it started taking in water you didn't press and release the fabric button often enough.

Let it run and see if it completes.

If it doesn't, try and retrieve the stored error again.

Hopefully going into diagnostics and out again is enough to reset the control board.

Let me know how it goes or if you need more help.

Hope this helped

Thanks

Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

HI the stored error code is 346, what does this mean?

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, lights 3, 4 and 6 indicate error code E34.
This is a fault with the electronic pressure switch or it can be a fault with the element.

Try running the machine on a cold wash.
Does it work?

Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Hi this model doesn't seem to have cold wash setting, min temp 30c wool

It seems to make a noise when all water is discharged, could this be the pressure switch? is it the brown round unit in the top of housing?

the machine seems to heat up ok

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
30C is a cold wash.

Did it go through the wash?
No, the pressure switch would not make a noise.

The drain pump will be making a noise as it runs on when all the water is out.

If the machine is heating, then it's back to the smaller electronic pressure switch (this one doesn't make a click sound at all) and/or the control board.

Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

It is running through 30c wash now, it is heating up ok.

there are 2 pressure switches listed, a Level Regulator and

a Analogic Pressure switch, which one is it

many thanks for your patients

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, as per my previous post, it's the smaller pressure switch.

The smaller one is electronic, the larger one is a mechanical switch.

Look at the switch on your machine, then compare it to the picture of the one in the diagram you are looking at.

When I check at www.4ourhouse.co.uk they are both listed as pressure switches but have pictures to help.

Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Ok will check out part

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
No problem.

Good luck with it.

Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Hi, have done 3 different washes and machine seems to be working ok now, so maybe don't need part?

Techdesk, Service Engineer replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
If it's now working, I'd leave well alone.

It may have been an electronic glitch affecting the pressure switch or a restriction that has now cleared.

If the fault returns, or any fault, check for the stored error and see what it is.

Good luck with the machine.
Thanks
Customer reply replied 3 years ago.

Yes now I know how to get fault codes, I will do this,

once again many thanks for your expert help.
