My Bosch Excell 1400 has stopped working in the middle of a cycle. It is saying FO4 ? What does that mean and what do I do now?

OK, the most common cause of this problem is an obstruction in the drain or debris in the filter/pump chamber jamming the pump.

You'll need to manually drain the water out of the machine.

At the bottom front there should be a filter and a draining tube.
Drain the water out via the tube and once empty, take the filter out.
Clean out the debris and reassemble.
Try the machine again and it should be work.

If the tube is blocked, you need to slacken the filter cap a little, drain water and then tighten it again when you need to empty the dish.
