Hiya,
E15 indicates the anti flood device in the base has been activated.

Is your machine free standing or integrated?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
It's integrated
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, unplug the appliance.

Take off the panel below the door so you can access the base.
Check to see if there's water in the base.

Let me know what you find.
Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I've tried removing the base....there s a screw at the base ....I've tried unscrewing it but it doesn't seem to unscrew so I can't get to base.
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
Above the screw for the rear leg that you are turning should be a metal plate.
It's this that you need off.

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Does it just prise off...it doesn't seem to respond to gentle pulling and I don't want to force/damage it.
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
No, there's a screw either side, then it prise up and out.

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
There are no visible signs of any side screws!
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
It's normally very faintly etched across the top of the inner door.

Once I have this, I'll have a look at the drawings and see if you have the obscure machine base.

Thanks

Hiya,
OK, the metal panel is shown in the exploded view and there are screws holding it in place.

If you can't get this off, then you need the whole appliance out of it's location to take the side panels off.

Thanks

A good old fashioned bang and it seems to be working again now!!! I've reset it and it's begun a new cycle! In your opinion do you think that the problem is just solved temporarily or that it might need more long term attention?
Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
If the float in the left side was stuck, the bang may have jarred it loose.
If this is the case, it's very likely it will stick again in the future.

If it does, you need the whole machine out, the left side panel off and then the metering tank and pressure chambers off so they can be cleaned out.

Glad you got it going.
Good luck with it.

Thanks
