I have a new Hotpoint WDL540 washer/dryer. Can you disable

Resolved Question:

I have a new Hotpoint WDL540 washer/dryer.
Can you disable the locking mechanism as when the fryer stops, the time it takes to release the door causes all the cloths to crease!!
I understand why there is a locking mechanism for the washing cycle, but separate dryers do not have this feature, so I was surprised that this is not the case on the drying cycle of my Hotpoint!

Hiya,
Short answer is, no you can't disable it.

It's a thermal lock and it should only take a couple of minutes to release.

There's only 1 lock so it has to be the type for a washing machine (safety).

Sorry, not possible to do what you want to try and achieve.

Hope this helps
Thanks
