Hi,

I have a Siemens SN26M290GB/02 dishwasher which is showing error 15. I have tipped it up and a little water has come out of the base. I have now taken the side panels off but I can't see anything obvious to fix. Any helo gratefully received.

Inside the machine, is there a dome shaped item?
If there is, press it downward a little.

OK, it's really strange as there's nothing showing on the drawings for an anti flood device.

In the base of the appliance is the circular part where it would normally be but there's nothing there.

When you cancel, select a new program and start it, what exactly happens?

On a daily programme (1 hr 10mins) the programme gets to about 10 mins before the end and switches to error 15. If I try to get it going again the machine gurgles and sounds like it's struggling to draw water and then stops again showing E15.

OK, thanks for that.

The service manual refers to the safety switch in the base.
Looking from the front, it's to the left of centre.
Check there, is there a float and switch?

I can't see a float and switch. I've had a look at the exploded views on the Siemens website and can't see where there would be one either.

OK, it would appear there isn't one.

10 minutes before the end would be the drying cycle.

Sorry, I don't have the manual for your exact model at home.
I've checked the manual nearest to it, but it's obviously different.

I'll have to check on this when I get back to work next week.

In the meantime, I'll opt out of the question and open it to all again.
See if anyone has the correct information available now.
