Hiya,
Can you post the model number of the appliance please?
Can you explain the problem some more?
Is the fault only with the freezer compartment?

Thanks

AEG Santo k88840i the freezer works and the fridge works for a while then the temperature starts to rise in the fridge and after a while the freezer starts to defrost .

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

I can't get anything to show with the model number.
Can you post the product number (PNC) from the label inside the fridge?
It begins with 9 so you need to prefix it with A so it's not crossed out when posted.

eg. A914419941 00

Thanks

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

Unfortunately, this is down to a faulty temperature sensor.

The sensor should tell the machine when it's cold enough (turns the compressor off) and it should tell it when it needs cooling (turns the compressor on).

Your sensor isn't reacting properly so the signals aren't being sent.

Unfortunately the sensor and it's wiring are foamed in.

I've checked the sensor service kits but there is no kit available for your machine.

I'm afraid to say, it's not repairable.

Sorry it's bad news.
Let me know if you need more help with this.

Hope this helps
Thanks
