KevinWhiteJA :

Hi, welcome to Just answer

KevinWhiteJA :

Please tell me its complete model number

KevinWhiteJA :

and how old is it ?

Customer:

its ferolli. about 7 years old but i can't find the model no

Customer:

what do i do next

KevinWhiteJA :

ok

KevinWhiteJA :

and I believe you have already tried to reset it ?

Customer:

yes

KevinWhiteJA :

and the gas flow to the broiler is good enough ?

Customer:

i think so . when i turn it on it sounds like it is trying to fire up but stops after about 30 secs and the f1 flashes again

KevinWhiteJA :

F1 error is usually a gas pressure error

KevinWhiteJA :

if the flow is good

KevinWhiteJA :

then the problem is either with the gas valve or the ignition of the unit

Customer:

what do i do now?

KevinWhiteJA :

are you willing to do this repair yourself ?

Customer:

If its fairly simple and you can tell me how to do it

KevinWhiteJA :

not that simple as you will have test few things

Customer:

try me please

KevinWhiteJA :

please check if the gas pressure is fine

Customer:

how

KevinWhiteJA :

if that is fine then check the gas valve

KevinWhiteJA :

also check if the gas valve connector is loose

KevinWhiteJA :

please check the correct model number on the unit and let me know

KevinWhiteJA :

so that I can tell you how to check the valve

KevinWhiteJA :

I wont recommend DIY until you are very much sure that you can do it

Customer:

ok. but before you go, someone has just turned the pressure up and now water is coming out of the pipe . how do i lower the pressure?

KevinWhiteJA :

Please check this Video it will give you an idea on how to do it

Customer:
