Hi

Ok if you open the door and hold the bottom of the metal drum at the front can you lift it up and down a bit?

If you turn by hand is it noisy?

Hi

Ok if you can lift the metal drum up and down then the bearings has failed. This will be why its banging around.

Now for this it depends on the model but a lot use sealed drums. So in this case you have to replace the complete tub as you cannot access just the bearings.

The way of knowing if it has a sealed tub is remove the top and you will see the tub.

Have a look and see if theres any screws going round it. If there isn't then the tub is sealed and needs to be fully replaced.

If there is screws then you can split the tub. You need to remove the tub and then split it and then you can access the bearings from there. But this is a big job and expensive.

Sorry its not looking like good news but if you need anymore info just get back to me.
