I have had to put everything back together so we can use the parts of the oven that do work.  I am not satisfied with the speed of response

Bosch HBN7060GB/01 fitted double oven Recently the main element blew spectacularly. I have replaced it but although the fan runs the element does not heat up. I have checked the element for continuity, reading shows zero Ohms so presumably the new element is not faulty. I suspect either the thermostat or heat limiter are damaged. Is the heat limited effectively a 'fuse'? Checking it for continuity gives infinite resistance. Unable to decide how I can check thermostat for damage. Please can you advise? Gordon Rothwell

Sorry I wasn't around when you posted your question.
Unfortunately, I work during the day.

If you still need help on this, I'm around for the rest of the afternoon.
