My Creda digimix pumped shower will not work, the remote says

Customer Question

My Creda digimix pumped shower will not work, the remote says E and H. It will bleed but then goes back to showing E. Tried to clean the filters but couldn't budge them out of the enclosure they are in. I ran a bath to cool the water but it made no difference.

Customer: Hi . Have you managed to solve the problem
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

No not fixed, I have tried a new pb board, no joy and am now waiting 2 new parts.

Hi. How old is it? And what is happening. Does it run at all , ie hot water , cold water coming or none?
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
Hi . Error shows that the unit is overheating . Could be due to blockage or airlock . Think you already know this . Warranty is two years . Is it older than this?Have you checked the level in your cold water tank ? Is this set at the right level ? And not draining too quick ?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

It's 4 years old, when I bleed it hot water comes out but then the E shows on the remote again and H. Plumber has already checked for an airlock. Not sure about the cold water tank but I know a problem with the overflow was fixed recently, so I imagine any problem with the cold water would have been noticed. How would I know if it was draining too quick?

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
We'll , if you look in the tank when the shower is running, if the water level goes below the outlets it could suck in air. This could happen if your ballvalves is all scaled up and slow to fill . All check the gate valves , hit and cold are fully open. Sometimes it's the obvious things that are missedAlso try and remove the shower head to make sure it isn't that which is blocked

Any luck ? Would recommend changing the outlet temperature sensor too
