Resolved Question:

HI FOLKS,

I HAVE A 335WH BELLING ELECTRIC COOKER AND THE LARGE HOB PLATE AT THE FRONT AND GRILL STOPPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME.

THE OTHER THREE HOBS AND OVEN ARE WORKING FINE. CAN YOU SUGGEST WHAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM AND HOW TO GO ABOUT FIXING IT?

MANY THANKS

Hiya,
Your suspicions are correct.

There are 2 thermal fuses in the machine.
One will likely be open circuit.

You need to isolate the power and take the rear panel off to check the wiring to the terminal block and then find the thermal fuse.

Copy and paste the following into a new browser window, it will take you to a supplier of the part you need.

This may be different to what is fitted on your machine, older types were a wire with a thermal fuse built into the wire, the uprated method is the thermal cut out with separate wiring.

Replacing this will get your machine working again.

Hope this helps
Thanks
