Hi

Can you post the model number please.

Also will the door actually lock so you cannot open it?

Regards

Number on inside of door as follows:

E Nr WAE28162GB/05 FD8701 604701

You are still able to open the door after pressing button and even when it starts beeping after 60 seconds, no "Click" heard...

Hi

Ok if the washer isn't staring or locking then its usually either the door lock or the control board.

If you have a multi meter you need to open the door and remove the outer seal clamp.

Then unlip the door seal.

Then you can remove the door and check the wiring hasn't burnt.

Then disconnect the wire and with you meter you need to test the lock. There will be 3 tags. 2 will give a reading on your meter. If there isn't a reading then the door lock is at fault and needs to be replaced.

If the door lock is fine then im afraid its looking like a faulty control board. You can remove this and see if theres any signs of burning on there.

If you need anymore info just get back to me.
