stoves dual fuel stove. how do you get at the grill door microswitch? it is an 1100 wide dual fuel model###-##-####/p>
what make is your range/ stove?
Is it s viking, wolf whirlpool? what is it?
and the model you list doesn't look correct. usually the model# ***** start with a few letters.
can you please tell me what the make is and the model number too.
I should be able to help you better when I have that info.
as i said it is a stoves
the model no is correct. if you feed stoves ********* into google you will get a photo of one. ta
I thought you had written a typo. I am unfamiliar with the brand STOVES.
What are you looking to do with the micro switch?
what is the stove doing? or not doing?
I am very familiar with many other brand stoves/ ranges. And I have almost 15 years experience working on these types of machines. And since most of the stoves are the same or similar, I am sure I could help you.
Is a light or fan not working in the unit?
Most switches are just behind the girl. and most girls will have a few screws holding the grill in place.
You just have to locate the screws.
which in most cases are just under the grill itself. so when the door is closed, it is right above the door.
take a look there and tell me what you see?
grill not working. grill fan comes on but no heat. changed the element but still no heat. am presuming that as the fan works that the grill switch is probably ok. so have ordered the door microswitch to change it to see if the fault is there . it is not visible when rear panel removed so presumably some dismantling at the front required. this is the advice i need. how do we access the door microswitch? ta
no visible switch mechanism so switch must be operated by the hinge. front plate for grilland second oven below fixed with a no of screws but two larger screws inside the grill compartment look more promising. they are 2/3 way back on either side. is it likely that the whole grill compartment will slide out if these are removed?
