Appliance Repair Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, welcome to Just answer
You will have to remove the top off the washer and then the back panel
Make sure the washer is unplugged then the top comes off and then the back
after this you can replace the belt
We have got the top off but we can't get the back off
are you unable to remove the screws ?
we've removed the screws but the back panel won't budge
just push it upwards so that it comes off
Are you familiar with the Miele 5740, it doesn't have a separate back panel. The back panel is joined to the internal frame. It doesn't push up
Please process a refund or this question as the expert has exited the chat without resolving the problem
No this didn't help as completely different machine. As explained the miele does not have a removable back panel.
We have managed to work out how to get the side panels off ourselves and have refitted the belt from there.
I have therefore requested a full refund.
No advice specific the make and model we requested.
We have managed to work it out ourselves.
