Hi Michael. I purchased the fridge freezer in the uk in 2006. I had it sent out to a holiday villa in turkey that year. The freezer stopped cooling around 2009. We only use the villa for 5/6 weeks per year and the freezer is switched off when we are not there. I don't think it gets cold at all, though the fridge works perfectly well. I'm going out to turkey on 18/7/2014 and was hoping to take a part with me to try and repair it. The only thing I can think off that May have had an adverse effect on the appliance is that back in 2006/7/8/9 the electric supply to the villa was intermittent and could go off 2/3 times per day not sure about the fan and can't check till I'm out there. Hi Charlie,
I can help you and the repair is pretty easy as well requiring only a few basic hand tools;-)
The problem with these especially when they are turned off a lot is the temp sensor in the freezer.
Its not expensive either.
