we have an AEG Arctis A75578-KG3 freezer. When a power cut

Resolved Question:

we have an AEG Arctis A75578-KG3 freezer. When a power cut occurs i.e. goes off and then comes back on, the unit does not re-start automatically. The only way to get it going again appears to be to switch off the power/unplug and leave it for 5 minutes or so and then re-power it.
This has happened on 2 previous occasions and have just arrived home from holiday to a defrosted and stinking load of rotten meat...

The issue is that during the power cut there was a surge, it has damaged the main control board.
You will need to replace that, its easy and I will assist you there as well no additional cost;-)
The best place to get that board is listed below.

the only board listed that fits the product number is ***** simply as a PCB, presumably this is the one?

Its got a bad relay due to the power cut the relay froze so now it wont work automatically any longer.
