Our Privileg Tumble Dryer is showing Code 07 and will not start.

Resolved Question:

Our Privileg Tumble Dryer is showing Code 07 and will not start. It states I need to contact the supplier. What can I do? we just cleaned the filter and the condenser.

Hi

Ok try this and see what happens.

Turn the dial to the 6 oclock position

Then press the start button 3 times

Then turn dial 1 click clockwise and press start button 3 times again.

Then turn the dial to off.

Then turn back on and it should have cleared the error code

But if it happens again then its picking up a fault on the motor circuit. Check the belt is still on but if that's fine then it may be either a faulty control board or motor.

But try the reset and see what happens and let me know.

OK, I have tried the process as you suggest but it still cuts out. We switch it on, it runs for about 30 seconds then goes into 07 again.


 


I am not mechanically minded, so I think I need a repairman as it is eiother the belt or control board as you suggest.
