Hi, can you please advise the model number of your Siemens Induction Hob?
Generally an Er2 means there is an internal error, but the specific error depends on the model, is that something you can help me with
excellent give me a few minutes
Yes the first number identifies first part of fault the second number the specific item
Its looking like a control board fault
Most likly, have you tried the good old turn it off for a minute at the isoluation switch and then back on?
That normally clears the fault if due to 'overheating' or 'missuse', but ER2x numbers are generally hardware faults so will occure again again.
Im just looking through the engineer manual, to double check its not a sensor
Right...the fault is the sensor you use to control the hob
It doesnt say which one but it says its one of the "buttons"
From what I can work out its the power button
Which is the second one from the right.
So this is going to be an egineer job unfortunatly, if there is nothing else could please rate the level of service you have received today so I may close the case.Sorry I was unable to get your hob working again, but rest assured the fault is reasonable easy to get a quote to fix now you have a diagnosis
