Model is: DTR-Z250

Purchased 2012 (approx 2 yrs old)

No lights or any response - completely dead.

Not that I know of, sorry. TV and computer were both working.

Personally, I think it's just kaput, but then I'm not an expert lol

Hi yes you are correct, on that model, the main control board can fail and I have seen this many times lol.
I wish I had better news for you I really do but did you want to send it out for repair? I can help you their as well. But honestly, between shipping and labor? It would cost almost as much as a new one:-(

More than likely the unit had blown the main power supply anyway which is a bit pricey to replace.
