Hi ,sorry just reread the question . one year old , doh . wow that isn't long for it to be having this problem . this is usually caused by a gunked up hot water heat exchanger. Can you remember if you system was totally cleaned/flushed before the new boiler was fitted ?
Yes, the system was totally flushed when the new boiler was fitted.
Does this happen with the kitchen hot tap ?
yes, the same happens with any other tap
Hello . has it been like this since installation?
no, the problem started last Thu 14th August.
Well . this problem has a few possible reasons.
Does the heating work ok?
Hello . either the hot water heat exchanger is sludged up or the hot water temperature sensor is faulty. Would go with the first one . usually when the hot water get exchanger is sludged/blocked the water can't move through quickly enough , overheats ,shuts down on the stat before starting again. This can be checked by removing the case and feeling the heat exchanger ( will get very hot ), go cold then very hot again . but is your boiler still in warranty .even if its over slightly ,Worcester may still honour it .
Thank you for your time. Nevertheless in 2 hours we do not seem to have made much progress. We have therefore decided to abandon
this site. We trust that the company will honour the "no-charge" promise, as our problem has not been solved.
Well .that's not true at all . I gave you the answer to your problem but you failed to honour your side
Also you have given me a poor service when I have spent 2 hours helping you with your problem
