I have a Drayton programmable room thermostat + Digistat SCR

Resolved Question:

I have a Drayton programmable room thermostat + Digistat SCR next to the Boiler
( Vaillant Combi)
Been having trouble getting boiler to initiate heating programme from Digistat for some time, replaced batteries but central heating will not engage the boiler.
Boiler fine, correct pressure, hot water demand from taps or shower is fine but boiler will
not initiate on rad circuit heating demand

Hi sorry to hear that, how old is your system?
Also may I have the full model # ***** the T-stat and the boiler?
And if it has hot water from the tap then it must be firing for that?
Please explain clearly this issue so I can help you.
Thank you

Boiler - Vaillant ecoTEC 831 installed 2008

Drayton Digistat +2RF/+3RF Model RF700/22090

Room thermostat - Battery

Digistat SCR - Mains

Boiler working fine in water demand mode

I've think its the SCR as both lights are on & unit sync to room thermostat but when heating demand is called for boiler does not respond to heating demand (does not fire up)

Hi thank you, ***** ***** issue isn't the T-stat but the control panel.
Do you have electronics experience?
If so we could work on that board.
If not you can simply replace the board.
I have done many of these lol;-)
If you will rate my service to you thus far as ok or better, before closing this page, I will be able stick with you until this fixed.
Please note it won't cost you anything more to rate, and it WILL ensure your question won't time out or end unexpectedly, then you can always contact me the very same way at no additional cost;-)
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
