Does it seem to be heating up and drying ok?
Also are you noticing it more on the top basket then the bottom?
Everything seems to be operating normally but the dishes are not coming out clean. Heavy soiling is not coming off. This problem has happenned suddenly
Not received the latest response from you.
Tries a third time and can confirm the washer is getting hot and drying properly but still not cleaning as required.
There is a "Soapy residue in the bottom after use.
What do you suggest?
Sorry for the delay. When you set your reply I was offline then.
What you need to do is set the dishwasher going and when it starts washing open the door and turn both spray arms so they face front to back.
Then close the door and let it wash for a few seconds.
Then open the door and see if the arms have moved.
Try it a few times and let me know what happens.
I have tried your suggestion and can confirm that NEITHER of the spay arms is rotating. They are still at the front to back position I set them.
You seem to have hit on a problem.
What is the cause and what can I do to remedy it?
Ok remove both sprays and give them a good clean as if you get anything blocking the holes in the arms it will stop them from turning.
So make sure all the holes on each arms are totally clear and then refit them and retry the dishwasher and see if this gets the arms spinning again.
Let me know what happens.
Have checked both arms and many of the holes were blocked. Cleaned them out but only succeeded in pushing the gunge back in, only for it to return to reblock the holes. Cannot get inside the arms, so what are my alternatives?
Ok what I normally do is remove the arms and run them under a tap and give them a good shack.
Poke something into the hole and let the water run through the arms and again shack it and this will clear the debris from the arms.
Try that and see what happens.
