GETTING 'NO SIGNAL' WHEN i SWITCH ON. DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY AERIAL?

It likely is the aerial. But can you tell me what are you connected to for signal, Model of your TV, also if you are using a digital encoder?

I this problem could be the aerial or the Hitachi itself.
The first thing to do is make sure the Hitachi is programmed to read the correct channels, it needs to be set to Antenna to get any signal at all from your Aerial.
Sometimes the program can get mixed up as well.
Try unplugging your Hitachi for 10 full minutes before trying this.
