George-Allsorts :

Hello... I can try to assist you if you have all the numbers from the rating plate/sticker on your machine

George-Allsorts :

Can you also tell me how old the machine is

Customer: Hi, Where would I find the rating plate, I can't see one? We bought it a year ago
George-Allsorts :

There is normally a sticker somewhere around the door edge

George-Allsorts :

Some of the machines have a sticker on the side of the machine.

Customer: Ac230v/50hz
George-Allsorts :

That is the Power rating of the machine

Customer: Yes that's the rated voltage. Rated power is 1930w, wtr press 0.04-1.00 capacity is 9 settings
George-Allsorts :

No other stickers?

Customer: No can't see one...what else did u need to know
George-Allsorts :

OK.. Have you tried switching off at the plug whilst the door is open to reset the

George-Allsorts :

PCB

Customer: Yeh
George-Allsorts :

and you have tried to select your program whilst the door is open#

Customer: Yep, I've taken all moveable parts out & washed them, soaked up all the remaining wtr, turned off & on at plug. Usually this works but this morning it isn't
George-Allsorts :

Can I ask how much water was in the appliance at the end of its last program?

Customer: Half a cup full about
George-Allsorts :

Can I ask, Can you get any life out of the options button at all?

Customer: No, nothing it just has the -- on the display
George-Allsorts :

Unfortunately, you are going to need an engineer to call to check the various components in the appliance, starting with the PCB and then the heater.

Customer:

Ok thanks

George-Allsorts :

Sorry to have to give you that result, but, The PCB is not operating correctly. This could be because the PCB is faulty or broken, or, a component such as a heater could have an earth leak causing the PCB not to act.
