Baumatic BDI631 dishwasher. First time I've started it up

Resolved Question:

Baumatic BDI631 dishwasher.
First time I've started it up and after about 2/3mins of the pumps etc starting up, the machine stops and starts beeping and the 'rapid/glass' light starts flashing.
Please help!
I've just read the above question and my problem is exactly the same. I've had it for about two weeks and it has been working fine but now the rapid/glass light flashes? The water seems to be on?

Hi
Thanks. Yes the unit seems to fill and drain ok. There is a small amount of water left in the bottom of the unit but I understand this is normal.....

Hi Thanks but does it seem when you run the DW, that it only fills then drains?
Please explain thank you

Hi thank you,
is that all it will do?
If so the float switch is filing or already bad.
If this is less that a year old then you need to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement, I would want a new unit if this were me but this can happen at any time anyway.
They don't make those switches very well as it is. You can look to see if yours is on the floor of the dishwasher inside. It may be? Or they may have it inside the sump(a bit more work).
I will stick with you until this is fixed.
Please don’t forget to rate my service before closing this page,
then you can always contact me the very same way at no additional cost;-)
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
