JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

Worcester Digistat wall unit for setting tempreture

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

I need to replace batteries but can get open the unit to access to replace

George-Allsorts :

Which version of the digistat do you have?

George-Allsorts :

The battery compartment should be situated at the bottom of the unit (press to unlatch and slide down)

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

it's at least 10 years old

George-Allsorts :

Hopefully, the access to the battery is the same for most versions

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

i cant get the unit apart

George-Allsorts :

Does the unit have the battery compartment underneath?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

Yes - but when I push in it doesn't slide out and I dont want to force it

George-Allsorts :

~On some of the older ones the battery cover was on the right hand side underneath... these ones required the use of a coin or the edge of a blunt kitchen knife to prise off the cover

George-Allsorts :

same as we use to do on the old transister radios

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

BINGO !!!!!!

George-Allsorts :

Done it?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

THANKS GEORGE

George-Allsorts :

You are very welcome

George-Allsorts :

Make sure you put the batteries in the right way around

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

YEP - LETS HOPE I CAN GET IT ALL BACK TOGETHER NOW!

George-Allsorts :

George-Allsorts :

All done?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

one last thing - I would like to override the timer settings so I just turn it on when I need

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

any advice?

George-Allsorts :

Was it the first or second that you had?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

first or second?

George-Allsorts :

I can send you a link to some user manuals to help you if you wish?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :

that would be great, thanks George - a complete novice here!

George-Allsorts :

Does your controller have a model number on it?

JACUSTOMER-u087lxmm- :
