I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL ADG 8310 - FINE FOR 2 YEARS, WAS GETTING

Resolved Question:

I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL ADG 8310 - FINE FOR 2 YEARS, WAS GETTING OCCASIONAL F8 E1 MESSAGES WHICH SORTED ITSELF OUT .
IT DRAINS FINE AND THE FILTERS ARE CLEAN. NOW IT STOPS AFTER A MINUTE SAME CODE ' F8 E1'. DOES THIS MEAN THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE WATER INFLOW. VERY HARD TO ACCESS THS AS BEHIND A BIG BUILT IN UNIT...
WILL I JUST HAVE TO GO FOR IT?

Hi sorry to hear that. This error can mean a few different things. One and most common is too much suds, you can try changing your detergent or using less.
The other most common issue is too much water in the washer. Please check both of these and let me know what you find?
Please don’t forget to rate my service before closing this page,
then you can always contact me the very same way at no additional cost;-)
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Thanks Michael for the quick response but I'm still a bit confused.

Just to clarify it is a dishwasher, just in case I wasnt clear about it earlier.

The manual seems to point this code 'F8 E1' being a drain hose / filter / syphon hose connection problem.

There seems to be if anything 'not enough water' and certainly no suds in the washer because it stops 60 seconds into the cycle.

We use the same cycle and use a tablet all the time btw.

Do you think the inlet hose could just kink or block spontaneously after 2 yrs?

Expert:  Michael replied 2 years ago.
Hi you listed it this way
Optional Information:
Brand: WHIRLPOOL ADG 8310
Type of Appliance: Washer
But yes that makes a big difference.
This could easily be a clogged not kinked drain hose or a clog at the sink trap where it connects. This can also be a float switch that is sticking and likely failing. I can help you replace if you need to.
Also porvide the best place for that part. But first, you need to turn power off to the unit at the mains, then disconnect the drain line from the sink drain line.
Then run the line into a large pot and see how it drains even if you cant see a blockage.
Please let me know how that goes.
Also please rate so we can stick with you;-)
Thanks Coleman.
