I CLEANED MY OIL BURNER AND REPLACED NOZZEL ON MY REILLO

Customer Question

PLEASE ADVISE WHEN THIS QUESTION WILL BE ANSWERED. PROBABLY REQUIRES A PLUMBER.

this question was submitter yesterday evening

I CLEANED MY OIL BURNER AND REPLACED NOZZEL ON MY REILLO KEROSENE BURNER LATELY. BEFORE I DID THIS THE BURNER WAS OPERATING PERFECTLY. FIRSTLY AFTER SERVICING THE BURNER FIRED AND RAN FOR 5 SECONDS. I TRIED THIS SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE SAME RESULT, IT CUTS OUT AFTER APPROX 5 SECONDS. I THOUGHT IT MAY HAVE BEEN AIR LOCKED SO I BLED IT USING ITEM MARKED 4 (PUMP PRESSURE REGULATOR) ON THE RIELLO INSTRUCTION BOOKLET. REALIZING THIS WAS THE PUMP PRESSURE REGULATOR I CONTINUED STARTING AND ADJUSTING THE PUMP PRESSURE REGULATOR BY 1/2 TURN EACH TIME. THE SAME RESULT AT EACH TIME OF TRYING IE. RUNS FOR 5 SECONDS. THEN I PUT OLD NOZZEL BACK BUT WITH THE SAME RESULTS. I SET THE ELECTRODES TO AS PER RIELLO LEAFLET. ITS A CONE SHAPED NOZZEL

***** ***** :

If it only stays lit for 5 seconds then it does not know it is lit

***** ***** :

Are you getting lockout?

JACUSTOMER-mngif6b3- :

yes. as soon as electrode stops sparking"oil cuts out and system stops

***** ***** : Ok, like I said, the boiler does not know it is lit.
***** ***** : can you take the light sensor out of the burner and give it a good clean
***** ***** : if it still does not work then I would replace it, as the only other thing it can be is the control box
JACUSTOMER-mngif6b3- :

ANDREW DO YOU KNOW THE CODE NUMBERS OF THE LIGHT SENSOR AND THE CONTROL BOX
