I have already looked at the aeg websites prior to speaking to you.As I asked in my question, they show one thermostat in the parts list and the oven has two ovens with completely different control knobs.How do I know if this one thermostat shown will be for the larger oven? The PNC number is ***** 030 756

Also as asked, is it the thermostat, because they also show things like temperature regulators?
Yes,they show the same aeg diagrames
A temperature regulator dioes the same thing if the word thermostat is too common for them
