Hello, my name is***** am not here constantly, so kindly be patient whilst awaiting responses, answers take time. If you need further info, ask.

George-Allsorts :

Can you give me the E Nr and FD from the appliance sticker inside the door

Customer: Wxlm168agb/14
Customer: Fd **********
George-Allsorts :

I cannot see the FD that you posted .. Can you re-type it with a # ***** front of the numbers please

Customer: FD 8508 700202
George-Allsorts :

Thanks for that..

Can you get access to the appliance at the moment?

Customer: E-nr WXLM168AGB/14
George-Allsorts :

yes, I have that thanks...

Can you open the door of the appliance and spin the drum by hand... Let me know if there are any noises

Customer: Yes I can -- no noises!
George-Allsorts :

Can you also, without more than finger pressure, test for upwards movement in the drum at three equilateral positions

Customer: Can't feel any upwards movement in 3 positions
George-Allsorts :

OK... that is good news.

George-Allsorts :

In the bottom right corner of the front of your machine you will see a square panel

George-Allsorts :

can you see it?

George-Allsorts :

Firstly you need to use the filter opening behind that flap to drain the drum of water

George-Allsorts :

Let me know when that is done

Customer: Sorry -- been out!
George-Allsorts :

That is what

George-Allsorts :

Sundays are for

Customer: yes -- it's the filter. I re inspected it and there was a linen strip and bit of plastic, which I removed. Re-ran the machines and, when it gets to the Spin cycle, it beeps, as though it has finished and will not spun. It will not then spin on the 'spin only' cycle either.
George-Allsorts :

Is this even when it is empty?

George-Allsorts :

or is it just when it is loaded with washing?

Customer: It won't spin or empty, even with no clothes in.
George-Allsorts :

OK... When you opened the filter.. Did you check that the impellor of the pump was able to turn freely?

Customer: You are a marvel -- the battery was jammed in the impeller!. Ok to try running the machine again?
George-Allsorts :

Excellent... Let me know how it goes

Customer: Full cycle completed! Brilliant - thank you!
