The timer alarm is not working on my hotpoint cooker , is it

The timer alarm is not working on my hotpoint cooker , is it possible to get it working again or will I need to replace it.

Also when you say the alarm is it just the sound thats not working is the timer itself ok still?

Ok thanks for that. If the sound has failed then im afraid theres nothing you can do to the timer other then replace it.

As the timer has the speaker built into it and theres no sound adjustment on there to alter it im afraid. So when they fail like this all you can do is replace the timer.

Now to replace the timer you need to pull the appliance out and remove both side panels.
Then you need to remove the hob top frame.
Then you can access the back of the control panel and access the timer from there.

Now the part itself is quite expensive. You are looking at £100 so if its just the sound thats faulty then it may not be worth replacing but this is up to yourself if you want the sound back.
