my maytag msd265 refridgerator is not cooling. the icemaker is also not working

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I have been in the home improvement and repair field for 20 years. I will be very glad to help you today. Is the compressor really hot? Is there any ice forming around the vent in the freezer?

No humming, no power?

Compressor is not hot?

I do not recall the compressor being hot either

there is power to it. The control panel is lighting up

It has not been turned off? Is the freezer cooling at all?

this is about the third month that it is off. I changed the control panel

not hot, no humming. I plugged it in and out

it stopped working about three months ago.

I bought a control panel, that did not fix the problem

its just stopped getting cold. it went completely dead

that was my mistake. It isplugged in all the time

I plugged it out (not in) and plugged it back in

Okay. Completely dead? The light does not turn on inside when you open the fridge? Or everything works but it does not cool? What setting is it on?

yes, everything (except the ice maker) works but it does not cool. It is on the middle setting

JACUSTOMER-4myyxddi- :

the light comes on etc.

Will you turn it to max and let it be for about 30 minutes. Tell me if the compressor makes any noise or gets hot, ok?

JACUSTOMER-4myyxddi- :

ok. should I sent an email, where do I send it?
