on my delonghi magnifica the part with the red push together

on my delonghi magnifica the part with the red push together buttons is stuck in the down position therefore preventing the tray and catcher from entering the machine, pushing the red buttons together has no effect

i have no paperwork with this machine but it is the cube shaped part at the bottom of the machine with what seems to be 2 red release buttons

OK see if this is of use it refers to having to tilt the infuser to get it to lock in and how to correctly take it out ~
