I have activated child lock on my de dietrich induction hob

Resolved Question:

I have activated child lock on my de dietrich induction hob and don't know how to deactivate it. I don't have a model number for it but I bought it spring 2007. Can anyone help?

What is that at the bottom center of the control panel... I don't recognise the hob .. but try pressing and holding that

Can you press - & + at the same time

Sorry, nothing happens.

Does it show a padlock to say it is locked?

No padlock symbol.

Sorry, I can not find your hob... The model number will be on a sticker on the bottom of the appliance if you can get at it... otherwise, I'm sorry, I can't help

Customer:

Thanks for having a go. I have tried to lift the hob but its stuck quite secure.

George-Allsorts :

One last ditch attempt would be to turn off at the wall for 10 seconds and then switch on again... this should unlock the hob, however, this does not solve the query permanently

George-Allsorts :

just try that before I opt out and leave it to someone else
