Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

Does the door handle feel loose and floppy?
Did t do the final spin?
Is there water in the drum?

Door handle is not floppy. Programme was completed - water appears to have drained.

Hi Colin
Great

It sounds like the lock has broken.
Disconnect from the mains
Remove the lid and lean the machine back at 45 degrees
Look inside towards the door lock
You’ll see the latch sticking through the lock
Slide this across and the door will open
If the handle is broken, take photographs before you dismantle it to replace it, they are notoriously difficult to re assemble without a picture

You can then retry the machine. If it wont start at all, you will need to replace the lock itself

Can I ask you to take a moment and rate my responses so far? Please use the smiley faces which you should now see. Please remember you are rating me personally, not the website or the problems you have had with this machine.
This will not close your question and you can still come back to me if you need more help
Thanks
Rob
