Trying to replace a bathroom shower, but hot water from Aga

Resolved Question:

Trying to replace a bathroom shower, but hot water from Aga is too hot for modern unit. Problem possibly compounded by the cold water supply coming from main.. Previous Mira shower ran perfectly well, but new model has plastic parts, old one had brass. reason for replacing? Old shower is dripping, and parts can't be replaced

Plumberpro :

Hi . you would be better off having an electric show just off the mains

Plumberpro :

If you have access to the pipework you could also put a pressure reducing valve on the incoming cold . you can also get pressure balancing valves that would equalise the hot and cold pressures.
