hi i have a creda cooker solapluse c461e the timmer / clock wont set buy pushing the buttons and this meens the main ovan wont turn on can i buypass the timmer to enable the over to be turned on oh i am a qualified electrican

Hi

Yes you can bypass the timer on this.

If you post a picture of the back of the timer with the wires on there i will see if i can tell you which wires it is to bypass.

To bypass this just join the singe red and white wire together thats going to the relay on the timer and that will bypass the timer for you.

hi thanks for your help unfortunately i done exactly what you said and it worked but after about 5 minutes of heating up the oven trips out the main rcd in fuse board the oven hasent been used for about a year do you think it could be the element

Yes when you get an oven tripping out its more then likely the heater element at fault. If its not ben used for about a year mositure could have got into the element and thats causing to go to earth. So just test the insualtion of the element if you have a megger and you will see if its faulty from there.

ok thank you is there more than 1 element in the fan oven as i know some ovens have a base element

On this fan assist oven they only use 1 element on these so thats all thats in this bottom oven.
