Hello, my name is***** be patient whilst awaiting any responses as I'm not constantly available.According to my information both hinges are available... Can you give me the PNC or Product code for the appliance please
PNC is948904411 (which is the 00 version).
There are hinges for the top oven which hinges down, but the bottom oven hinges to the left.
Ahh.. one moment.. let me look
The top half is integral.. however, the bottom half is available as far as I can see... Let me try get an image of it so you can check it
Damn, that's what the woman at AEG said. I now have to spend £130 buying the door in the of chance that that is the problem. The only separate part I can see is 105, the bottom hinge that fits to the oven.
You say the door has dropped??
My expletive would be moderated!
yup... You could try to do what we do with them and that is to ballast the bottom hinge with a washer or two
or even a bush
Yes, the door isn't vertical at the hinge side . There is approx. a 3mm difference from the top of the hinge side to the bottom, and this is much more on the catch side.
A bush would lift it, but wouldn't place it on a more vertical plain would it?
Heat up the bottom hinge (cooker side) and alter the hinge trajectory
Take it off first?
Oh yes, otherwise yu'll burn the door
Or the cooker
Better still, take it to a metal workers and they will do it without heat
cost sround a tenner
Nothing ventured nothing gained! I haven't tried taking the door of yet. Hope it just lifts of the round hinge piece.
If I remember correctly it is 3 screws
It is three screws and should it then drop away from the door?
Let me know how you get on with itBetter still, take it to a metal workers and they will do it without heat
Ok. Thanks for your help.
3 screws and it drops away from the body of the cooker... you need to send the tip 3mm to the right
