Appliance Repair Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, welcome to Just answer
Please tell me its complete model number
OK and where is that noise coming from ? The bottom of the appliance ?
Hard to say. Its not from inside
OK and with the unit unplugged, can you pull it out and clean the drain pump assembly located inside the bottom of the appliance
Do I have to lay it on it's back to remove the bottom panel to access the pump?
Yes, unplug it and remove the hose then lay it on its back...try to clean as much as you can...after this check and try to run a cycle
if the problem is still there after this is done then it is probably the motor that is bad and will need replacement
I noticed on the right hand side behind the panel there is a plastic component with water channels in it. It might be clogged. Could this be the problem?
the noise might be from something that is stuck in there...so cleaning should solve the problem
This is the drain pump for your appliance
Could it be a problem with the spray pump?
cleaning everything should solve the problem ... you can try to clean both circulation and drain pump
What does circulation pump look like?
the one that has motor attached to it

Hello. Have the dishwasher on its back with hoses removed. I can't see how I can remove the base panel to access the pumps. Is there another way?
Please check this Video, it will give you an idea on how it is done.
There is no removable panel as shown on the video. Any suggestions?
I have removed the side panels but ther is no removable base panel
The base of this dishwasher is one large plastic moulding with no drop out central panel. It looks a though the door would have to be removed. Is this right?
Not accessible. it does not remove. It's part of the base moulding
Have loosed the whole of the base moulding but it holds all of the items on rhs. Who designs these things???
Main pump is clean. Nothing in it. What now?
All reassembled. It did not start immediately and was making a noise. I wonder if it was a stuck filler valve. Then suddenly it started and has completed a full cycle. Right result but maybe the wrong reason. At least I know how to remove the bottom panel.
