why would the "slow spin" button light up on my washing machine?

Customer Question

why would the "slow spin" button light up on my washing machine? I'm not doing anything different when it comes to settings or the amount of the load put in. Part way through all of a sudden the machine stops and the "slow spin" button start flashing. Looking in the machine there is water sitting at the door, any ideas what I can do? Don't want to open the door and cause a flood? Thanks

Hi
When that light starts flashing you need to count the number of flashes from it in between the pause and let me know.

Hi
Ok thought you would get the 3 flashes.
Basically the slow spin light is flashing as its an error code to say something is wrong. The 3 flashes means E03 which is a draining error code.
What you need to do is remove the plastic trim on the front at the bottom and there you will see the filter in the bottom corner.
As the washer is full of water you need to slowerly drain the water from there. Get s shallow tray and slacken the filter and the water can drain from there.
Once the water is out you can fully remove the filter and give it a good clean out.
Then look inside the chamber were the filter goes and there you will see the pump impeller at the back X shape. Check theres nothing stuck in there and clear it out.
Once its all clear refit the filter and retry the washer and see how it goes. Fingers crossed this will cure the fault and get it up and running again and stop the light from flashing.
So try the above and this will cure the fault from there. If you need anymore info just get back to me.
