,We have a Stoves Prelude DF1100a. The power went off,

Customer Question

Hi, We have a Stoves Prelude DF1100a. The power went off, and now the clock is in Auto and flashing, and the cooker is not working. Does anyone know how to return the clock to Manual?

Alternatively, could you describe how I can bypass the clock so it does not interfere with the cooker?

Thanks

Hi
Ok is the clock still flashing?
If so then turn the power off and leave it about 10 seconds then turn it back on.
Now look at the clock and number the buttons from left to right with 1 on the left.
Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 and at the same time press the + button and set the time.
If that doesn't work then try buttons 2 and 3 and press the + button at the same time.
Try them and see what happens and let me know.

Hi,

Thanks, ***** ***** not working. The clock is still in Auto mode and flashing.

Ok if its not setting then its going to be a faulty timer.
Yes you can bypass this if you don't use the timer. To do this you need to remove the control panel from the oven and take a picture of the back of the timer with the wiring and I can tell you how its done from there.
