Customer: No, when I turn it on, it just flashes 'H' then switches to 0.25, then back to 'H'
Customer: If I press reset button, it goes to 0.01 then goes off after a minute and reverts back to 'H'
ok does it have a delay button ?
Customer: It has a start delay button and plus and minus buttons
press the start delay and minus button
Customer: Tried that, no change to flashing 'H'
ok and if you press the delay button repeatedly does it change the H 00;01 to H 0.00
OK, unplug the appliance -4 minutes...plug it back and simultaneously press and hold the START button 15 seconds...let me know how it goes

Customer: i have vario speed, half load,intensive zone, intensive with a lock function, auto, Eco, delicate,turbo speed 20mins, pre rinse, start in +\-, extra dry and start
and what happens if you press the minus or plus buttons ?

you will see a button marked C thats the one
I have not worked on these SMS series earlier so dont know what is that button
Customer: It's the pre rinse button. I've just pressed it and now its flashing '15'
Customer: its got rid of the 'H' thank goodness.
Customer: Now the pre rinse is flashing 15!
press it till the time you get 00
Customer: I've pressed the reset button and now that's gone to '0.01'
Customer: its now 000!
now press the Start button it will store this setting
Customer: yippee!! It's worked!!
this has nothing to do with the turbo boost
it was basically Water Hardness

you might have pressed some wrong buttons causing this issue :)
