KevinWhiteJA :

, welcome to Just answer

KevinWhiteJA :

How old is it ?

Customer:

About 7 years

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, do you mean the lights in the column of the lights located on the right are all flashing ?

KevinWhiteJA :

and which lights are lit from the right ?

Customer:

no. all the horizontal lights ..... where you select crease minimising and extra spin etc. the lights in the column are off other than the static pump out light which is on and the green "on" light below it.

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, look at the column of lights on the right...if you number with 1 at the bottom which number is ***** and which on is flashing

Customer:

Of the six possible lights , starting from the bottom, 2 and 3 are lit and none are flashing.

KevinWhiteJA :

sorry six or five ?

Customer:

six if you include the bottom "lock" light ..... so lock light is off, the two lights above that are on and static and the three lights above that are off.

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, that is error code F12 which is a communication error between the control modules of the washer

Customer:

ok.... so what needs to be done?

KevinWhiteJA :

you will have to take the top off and check the connections to the control and also check the display module and the PCB

KevinWhiteJA :

you can remove the connectors and clean its contacts then insert them back

KevinWhiteJA :

this might solve the problem, if the issue is still there then the control board will need replacement

Customer:

OK thanks ,

KevinWhiteJA :

you can buy the parts from here

Customer:

I appreciate your advice. Thank you
