I have a Bosch freestanding Fridge Freezer model no KGN3401GB/06

hi I have a Bosch freestanding Fridge Freezer model no KGN3401GB/06 FD 8700 which is freezing inside freezer compartment. It did this about 3 years ago when an engineer fixed something into back of top element, area saying there was a drainage prob. Remembering some of what he did last night, i defrosted with hairdryer [ FF switched off of course] and removed c 2mm thick wadges from behind the back panel [ removed two screws etc] and the thicker 'puddle of ice' in back corner of bottom shelf... didn't wait an hour for ff to settle, switched back on.
This am there's a puddle at back left side of FF and some ice starting to gather on bottom shelf again I also cleaned the back of FF last night removing any gunge in who,e tray and making sure the drainage holes are clear. So now what to do? Should I remove the top element in freezer?? Thanks,
