Hello, my name is George..The temperature light is flashing due to the fact that the temperature is too low.. This sounds, from what you have said, as if it is to do with the fact that the fridge freezer is low on refrigerant.. This is indicated by the fact that you have frost on the fridge wall and also the fact that there is a bulge in the wall which also indicates a large leak causing the insulation to blow.Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses as I'm not constantly available.
Should I plug out the fridge or continue to let it run, It will be a day or two before I can get someone to look at it , is there any safety concerns with this problem?
I would unplug it .. There are safety concerns if the bulge at the back of the fridge becomes punctured
Is this problem usually fixable or will the fridge need to be replaced?
The appliance will need replacing I am sorry to say
Once the insulation is blown in this way it can never be repaired
An internal leak is usually the cause of this and although some internal leaks can be cured, I'm afraid when they are bad enough to cause this sort of damage then there is no repair course
Do you need any further information or assistance on this
Just my luck, thanks for the help, much appreciated.
