Resolved Question:

Hi, I will be having a Zanussi induction hob installed in the next day or two,
would you be able to confirm how much of a gap is ideal between the bottom
of the hob and the top of the electric oven fitted below it. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Is the hob being fitted in a standered kitchen?

Is there just a single oven under the hob and is the hob being fittted into worktop?

If so then it will be fine as ive never know a hob in a work top to be fitted to close to an oven as the units dont allow it to happen.

But all it needs is a gap of about 20mm to allow for the airflow and that will be just fine. So if its a standered kitchen then it will be fine. You just cannot sit the hob directly on top of the oven so a 20mm gap will be just fine.

Hi again,

Just to answer your questions:

Yes it will be a standard family kitchen

The induction hob will be built into the worktop

There will be a double oven sitting below

Thank you

Ok if you are having a double oven under there then it will be a built under oven so that will be fine as there will be plenty of space there so you will have no problem with that set up.
