I had to take off and re-fix one of my radiators. When complete

Resolved Question:

I had to take off and re-fix one of my radiators. When complete I turned the heating back on. The boiler did not start and has a flashing F1 fault indication. How do I restart the system?

Plumberpro :

Hi , did you refill the system to 1.2 bar?

Plumberpro :

Also , did you bleed the radiators ?

Customer:

Radiators are all bled. system refilled to 2.4 bar.

Plumberpro :

Ok , turn the power off , for 2 minutes then back on ,but 2.4 is too high . release a little from a radiator bleed til it drops to around 1.2

Plumberpro :

Hi , sorry for reset turn the temp knob round to reset for less than two seconds then back into control range. Check the boiler air release valve cap is open .

Plumberpro :

Air release valve above and behind, to the left of pump. Have to go out so will just say the fault code is an overheat probably caused by air in the system , all the best
