We have an Aria Dry dehumidifier with the code DEC 180E under the cover to the control panel. The motor switches on but no water is extracted. It is about ten years since we acquired it. Can it be repaired and is this now the best course or should we replace it. It has served us well

OK there are three things that I need you to check for me - a. Is the fan going around inside the unit, b. when it is running is there any frost on the finned cooling coils c. can you touch the motor ?

IT is a sealed unit . I have no access to the fan or the cooling coils

You should be able to hear/see the fan spinning and the coils will be available through the front or the back cowls.
